Performance Opportunities

One of the most exciting events for the dance school is our annual end of year recital. This provides a wonderful opportunity to show off our year's achievements, and is enjoyed by everyone.

All students have the opportunity to perform in open-days and local displays. Performance Teams are established to offer further experience in eisteddfods and at major events.

Special events associated with ATOD include master classes, competitions (including self-choreography), scholarships and dance troupes.

Guest Teachers and Workshops

Throughout the year, special guests are invited to our dance school to inspire students with various teaching styles and performance works. As well as enjoying the visits of in-house guests, students are invited to attend workshops and summer-schools offered by various agencies throughout Brisbane.

In recent years, we have been part of the Queensland Ballet’s Adopt a Dancer program, where Teri Crilly, Lina Kim and Clare Morehen have been great mentors. We would like to thank the Queensland Ballet dancers and the Queensland Ballet Ed Squad for continuing to inspire us each year.
