2025 Lesson Fees

    The following Student/Family Packages (including GST) are offered per 10-week Term (4 Terms per year):

    • 8 classes per week (15% discount) $1496.00

    • 10 or more classes per week $17.60 per lesson

    Where Term Fees (10-week package) do not apply, individual classes cost $24.00 (except individual Starlets classes cost $20.00).

    The following payment provisions are in place:

    Annual registration fee

    A non-refundable annual registration fee of $50.00 per student contributes towards administration expenses (including music licensing and insurances). If students are re-enrolled before the end of Term 4, a 20% deduction is offered ($40.00).

    LESSON fees

    • Fees are invoiced on a Term basis (10 weeks of classes), with 2025 due dates (at the beginning of each Term) being:
      – Term 1: 31 January
      – Term 2: 22 April
      – Term 3: 11 July
      – Term 4: 3 October
    • Where three or more classes are attended per week, families have the option of paying half their fees by the due date, and the other half no later than the same date of the following month.
    • Should students not be able to complete a 10-week Term, refunds for remaining lessons unattended are only applicable where two weeks’ notice is provided (individual lesson fees apply).
    • Should a student’s registration be discontinued for any duration, cancellation of a class placement means that students returning to lessons within the same year are required to re-register (however class placements are limited and cannot be guaranteed).
    • Where additional lessons are requested mid-term, an invoice will be issued separately to Term Fees already committed.

    • Semi-private lesson fees may apply where less than four students commit to a class.

    • New families will be sent a fee invoice upon registering, and will be charged on a pro rata basis if commencing mid-term.
    • Free trials are not offered at Intrinsic Studios, however if students do not register after their Introductory Lesson, no fees are charged.

    Missed Lessons

    Class fees are charged on a Term basis, and not per individual lesson. We are unable to deduct fees for absenteeism as we commit to offering the highest standards of tuition, facilities and opportunities whether or not a lesson is missed.

    Where class availability exists, one make-up lessons can be arranged per term for each genre. Make-up lessons are not available during the concert season (Term 4), and may not be carried over to the next term or the next year.

    Late Payment Fee

    A $10.00 late fee is added to outstanding invoices every month where they remain unpaid. Class placements will be cancelled where a payment plan cannot be met.

    Private Lessons

    Private and semi-private lessons for technical development and performance training can be booked at the standard costs of:

    Solo private $50.00 per ½ hour
    Semi-private (2 or 3 students) $32.00 per ½ hour
